The community of Highland Woods is located off of Highway 50 across from Tahoe Sierra. Located on the lake side and near meadows this is a

great community to bike in.  There is a bike trail that will take you to Trout Creek or in the opposite direction to Pope Beach and Camp Richardson.

If you wanted to ride further you may want to visit Taylor Creek. This community primarily consists of single family homes.
