The Bijou area is one of the oldest but quaint communities in Lake Tahoe.  It is centrally located on lake level terrain which makes it easy and convenient to get around. The Bijou straddles both sides of Highway 50 and borders the beach. You may also enjoy the convenience of the  Bijou Golf Course centrally located and surrounded by meadows.  There is shopping at Safeway supermarket, CVS Pharmacy and numerous Mom and Pop shops.  Some of the restaurant favorites are The Brewery, Teps Villa Roma, Nikki Chat, Big Daddy Burgers, The Red Hut and so many more. Located just one mile from Heavenly Ski Resort California base and one and a half miles from Stateline Nevada.
